The special ultrasonic technology produces a dynamic cleaning action with 40,000VPM (vibrations per minute) that thoroughly cleans your teeth, removes plaque along the gumline, and also reaches deep between teeth to remove plaque from hard-to-reach areas. It massages your gums, while still being remarkably gentle, even on sensitive teeth. It is even gentle enough to be used by people with braces, dental restorations, and periodontal pockets.
The Xtech XHST-100 features a 2 minute auto-timer. Dental professionals recommend brushing no less than 2 minutes twice a day. The auto-timer indicates that your brushing cycle is complete by automatically turning off the toothbrush at the end of the brushing cycle. People generally divide the teeth & gums into four brushing areas, therefore the unit will alert you to change the area every 30 seconds.
The Xtech XHST-100 charging dock comes with a built-in UV sanitizer to sanitize and kill the bacteria of the brush head. Simply place the brush heads into the UV chamber compartment and close the cover. The UV tube will light up and then will shut off automatically after 6-8 minutes.
